Meet Miss Missy!!!

Have I properly introduced you all to Miss Missy? Well here she is...I just love her so much. She does embroidery too. I have to admit that I am not very up on that part of the machine. I just love the features on her. I wish I had a little girl to sew pretty dresses for.

Right now I am concentrating on bunnies. I am convinced that if I make them spring will come. Let's hope I am right on this assumption.

I have been buying lots of seeds and can't wait till next month when I can start to plant them for seedlings. I am not getting as excited as I did last year as I put too many out too early and had a lot of frozen little plants.I have learned my lesson though, patience is a virtue you know.

Has everyone heard of the new trend...shopping smartly? Hey, I guess I have been cooler than I thought!!I never dreamed that shopping sales and using coupons would become a trend, for me it's an everyday way of life.

Well, enough on my ramblings, I will try and post pocs of my bunny family sometime this week.
Until then, have a blessed day. pam

Sharing in the LOVE!!!

So, I hope everyone had a great week-end. I sure did! The funny thing about VD day is EVERYONE in the familia wants to get in on the love. Even the dog and cat called a truce and decided to get along. See? They even took a nap together!!

I thought this was too ca-ute!!!

We had a very nice dinner, I grilled steaks and lobster on the grill (it was even snowing) and then we watched Fool's Gold. I loved this movie! My husband even thought it was o.k. (he is more of an action movie type). I had to admit I did a little dreaming of oceans and beaches and warm weather activities!!!

Sissy went back to the ski resort and life is back to normal. The sun is shining and I am once again thinking of spring and all the hopes and promises that this special season holds for us all.

I am going to bake my bread this morning so I can sew this afternoon.I am making bunnies!!!Lots and lots of bunnies. I will share them after they are completed.

Have a blessed day. Pam

Gettin' Ready for my Holiday!!!

Did I mention to you all that Valentine's day is like my very favorite day? Well, it is and I have several reasons why. Would you like to hear my reasons? I thought you might...
1. It's all about the love. Hearts, smooches, poems, flowers, oh my goodness...I just can't get enough.
2.There is no expectation of gifts. You don't have to buy everyone a gift on Valentine's day... all that you really have to do is love.
This is a picture of my sweetie with Mr.Dingle...He got lots of love while sissy was here. Yes, Sena came home just in time for Valentine's Day. Gotta love my kid.

3.The sweetness. Yes, Valentine's Day is all about the sweets around here. These cookies will be all gone by tomorrow evening. I made big ones and small ones but most importantly is that they are all hearts.
See that white cup on the right? That is my measuring cup for my sugar cookies...It isn't a real cup but when I am measuring out the sugar and flour I use this and they always turn out perfectly. I keep very good care of this cup as it is quite old and if it broke I don't think I would be able to make these cookies any longer.

I also should comment on my cookie cutters, I have an entire drawer filled with cookie cutters but for some reason I use these hearts more than any. Sometime I will show you all my collection, some are quite old and some of them are metal ...I love them all.

Well dear friends I will quit blubbering on about this special day of mine/ours?!!. Have a wonderful Valentine's day and remember...All You Need Is Love!!!!

Yeah Sissy's Home!!!!

Well, today is a special day for me. Sena has come home for a visit! I can't wait to catch up on everything. I have really missed her.
Tonight my pooh-boy has a wrestling meet at school, so I will be there until around 10 pm. He only has a few more meets and then he will be done for the year, can you tell I am just a little too excited? Really, I would enjoy it more if I knew the rules and such.
We have a high wind warning out for this afternoon, I hope it doesn't get too bad.
I also want to make some suger cookies today. I guess I had better get off here and get busy!!!
Have a blessed day, Pam

Just breathe!!!

While I was at the home improvement store yesterday I happened to smell a smell!!!
I could hardly believe my umm, errrr, well, my nose...I had to buy them. I got these they were not yet in bloom and this morning they have been blossoming like crazy. My entire front room smells heavenly. I am going to plant them outside my front window in the fall for next spring.

I already have some bunnies on my mantle and I bought some Easter patterns to make some new stuff. It is a beautiful day here today with temps close to 60! Yes, I think it is definitely going to be an early spring.

Okie dokie I have to admit that I am just a little obsessed with the birds. There is a reason though.

You see I am convinced that spring is just around the corner. See the pretty female cardinal playing peek-a-boo with me?
Then there were baby blue jays and unfortunatly you will have to take my word when I tell you they were cute!!
There is a bird taking a bath at our waterfall but I don't think you can see him.He is on the rock and boy did he have fun.

I have been told that the ground-hog in PA saw his shadow so six more weeks of winter....however I was feeling a little groundhoggish on Monday and I crept outta my hole and guess what???Yep, no shadow!!!!So I guess it's just who you are going to believe Phil or me!!!! Pick me, pick me....I'm ready for tulips and warm sun and daffodils and well, you get the picture.

Blessings, Pam
