The Running of the Roses...part deux

Well, my Rosie's little sister (we call her Junior) couldn't stand all of the attention her big sis was getting so she started to make her own statement today!! Isn't she beautiful? She smell's just like that Rose powder we use to get at the Woolworth store.

She is on the opposite side of the porch and so I have a little competion between these two as to who is going to out do the other. I love them both though.

I just love the way my hosta's and Peony look this year. There is a small mock orange plant under the window in this garden. I planted it there so the smell would waft through the windows into the front room of our house. In the morning it is such a lovely way to start the day.

May Flowers!!!

Remember the old saying...April showers bring may flowers? Well, let me tell you they did!!!

Here is my rose bush that is just a toddler really, she is three years old.

I have been waiting to snap some pictures of her and yesterday I got my chance.

I know I haven't been keeping up on my blogging lately and really I have no excuse other than I have been waiting....waiting for something to happen. You see, I believe in magic and I have been waiting on the "magic."

Well yesterday there it was, staring me right in the eye. See the picture of the rose with the sky as her background? That is totally untouched..I thought it looked like she was praising God for the wonderful day He had given us. So I took the picture and yes, that was my magic. What is your "magic?"
