Spriiiiiinnggggg!
Yes spring has finally arrived and the week-end was lovely.
I am planning my annual Spring cleaning fest tomorrow and so I will spend today picking up and putting everything out of my way.
I can remember my mom-in-law coming up and helping me with the cleaning when we had the big house. What a chore...it was awful. But the visit from her was so lovely.I miss her terribly. She was such a great lady.
Better get busy tomorrow will be here before I know it...

dreaming a dream
Well gosh, it has been a very lonnnng time since I have visited. Isn't that picture lovely? It is a place in Ireland and well with St.Patrick's Day just around the corner i have been dreaming of Ireland.
You see I want to go there and live there and just be. I have wanted to do this since I was about four years old and my dear sweet auntie told me a story about a leprechaun. I have always been fascinated by leprechauns. The whole pot of gold under the rainbow thing.Wonderful!!
This year I have even started a tiny little fairy village that I am going to put out in my front yard under the azalea bush. If a leprechaun should happen by it will be more than welcome to stay there. I am in the process of making some tiny houses for my village. I will plant some small mosses and other shade loving plants around the village and it will look magical.
Well, have a happy St. Patrick's Day! Have a blessed day.Monday, March 2, 2009
Good day everyone!!!March is finally here and I love it. Even though It has come in a lion (very cold here)-I know that only means that it will be going out as a lamb!
Isn't funny how this usually works out right? I can hardly remember a time when it didn't. I found this picture on flicker and thought it was too cool.
I am still working on bunnies as I had a death in the family (dear Aunt Virginia) and didn't much feel like sewing. Aunt Virginia gave me my love of quilting. I can remember going over to her house and she always had a quilt going on in her frame. She would sit and quilt and we would get under the frame and play like it was a secret hiding place. Good times, good times. She will be missed.
I think I will make a quilt in her honor. I haven't decided what pattern yet , maybe some kind of flower. She was also the lady who took care of the flowers for our church every Sunday. She had the most beautiful flowers and would pick lovely boquets every week and bring them to Sunday school for the vases on the pulpit. Every now and then she would get some from my aunts but they usually were from her gardens. I think her favorite color was lavender but I will make the quilt blue and yellow as that will tie in with my new coilor scheme for the house!!Yes, I am redecorating the house. That will be for a later post!!!
Well, I guess I have rambled on enough for today. Have a blessed day and take care. Pam
